Enseignant-chercheur à l'École Supérieure de Technologie d'Essaouira (université Cadi Ayyad à Marrakech, Maroc), Mohamed Boukherouk est responsable pédagogique de DUT Management du tourisme. Ses travaux de recherche et ses publications dans les journaux scientifiques s'articulent autour du tourisme, du patrimoine et de l'innovation technologique. Ex-directeur d'agence de voyages, il est aussi consultant senior indépendant pour des projets liés au tourisme, auprès de plusieurs organismes nationaux et internationaux : Creative Tourism Network®, GIZ, UNWTO, Swiss Contact, INDH...
